Upon arrival I mentioned what I was looking for the staff directed me to the “scrap pile” in which they had smaller cut pieces in all sorts of shapes and sizes they had exactly what I was looking for. I do a small amount of DIY and repair work with odd fabrication projects from time to time. I can always count on the big box stores for nuts and bolts, small selections of sheet metal and angles.

However, sometimes I need something specific, larger sheets, special alloys, hot rolled or cold rolled or a thick aluminum bar. That’s where Metal Supermarkets comes in.

I rely on Metal supermarkets for expert advice, special metals and convenience. I can shop on line and get rapid price quotations or I can call and have access to any kind of metal in the entire country.

Metal Supermarkets also have access to shops for fabrication, special cuts and bends, etc. Best of all, Metal supermarkets is an all-in-one operation; I send them drawings for a part, with the material callout, Metal supermarkets gives me a price, we agree and a couple of days later I get to pick up my part.
