This was my first trip to the metalsupermarkets store in Cedar Rapids,IA. As a “hobbyist level”metalworker, I appreciated the way that Alyssa and Daniel in the office and the warehouse crew treated me and my small order. This treatment would probably less likely occur at a larger supplier. I received a nice call from the store the day after my order was filled asking about my experience – a nice touch. Their prices were very reasonable and considerably lower than the those I saw at a popular online store. They made my hour trip to the store well worth it. They will be my go-to metal supplier. Daniel at the order desk put up with my monthly phone calls and was always honest as to the status of my shipment. When my order finally did arrive, is when the dividends of my decision to buy from Metal Supermarkets paid off. Due to personal health issues I was unable to pick it up. The manager (whose name escapes me at this time) stepped up and made sure it was delivered. Apparently no order is to small for this company because the size of mine proved that. I can only imagine how I would have been treated had I made a larger order. I would encourage anybody, large or small to use this team to buy their metal from.

Easy to order from and they have a lot of product on hand. the only issue i have encountered happened the first time i ordered. i ordered on Thursday or Friday, they did not have the metal but said it would be ready for pickup Tuesday. i waited to call until late in the afternoon to call to ensure it was ready. they said they had what i ordered but it may take a couple days to cut it. when i told them i was on a tight schedule, they got it cut and ready for me shortly after that.

Brought a pipe in from my outdoor grill that broke off at the bottom. Called metal supermarkets and they said they could make me a pipe if I brought the old one in, so I did and they made me a new pipe in less than a couple of days and it works perfectly I would recommend them for all your piping needs.
