They’re local for us, so shipping is not an issue. Many of the pieces we are looking for are oversized in one dimension, so the #$@?! UPS people want to charge an arm, leg, and several internal organs to ship what we need.

And they usually have what we need in stock. and can get our stuff in short order.

You can purchase small quantities so a person can just go there and pick it up instead of getting it delivered. It can be cut to size if you do not have a saw that is big enough for the piece of steel you need. Having aluminum and different shapes is also a plus.

I can call as I leave work and have the metal sitting there when I get there. I just have to give them my first name and they know who I am… Unlike other companies where I have to give them a full name, customer number etc and they still don’t know who I am. Not only do they know me and treat me like a friend, they know my daughter and ask where she is on the rare chance she isn’t with me.
I don’t have room to keep a stock of the materials I need so, its nice to be able to get just the material I need for the job I’m working on without the insane price markups that other places have. Building RC parts means I don’t need to buy 10′ of a product, I love being able to buy 12″.
