Everything was great but I got a quote on a piece of aluminum 74″ long and I even brought the old piece and they measured it as 74″ long. They wrote up the order for 72″ and cut it 72″. I had to do an extra retrofit to make it work. And, it did and the outcome was great, but required several hours of modification to use the purchased metal.

I am aware that after the pandemic material prices increased. But on my last purchase prices were extremely high. After that purchase I shopped around and found out that I had paid 25-30 percent above current market value.

I was even shocked at the prices in your left over/scrap section.

Were a small business and we depend on being able to buy products at market value to keep our customers price point satisfied.

I hope that you guys can reevaluate your pricing and bring it into line with current market conditions.

I just learned how to Mig and Stick weld so I could get a rusty truck ready for my son’s upcoming driver’s license. I found metal super store through a random internet search using the DuckDuckGo search engine (I’ve given up on Google). Anyway….I saw that they had a location in Beltsville, MD (which is on my way home from work). I looked on their web site and liked how they advertised about being a large provider of material for small jobs. Their prices were close to 40% cheaper than the HomeDepot for the same angle iron and flat bar stock. I called them and gave the young man a list of the items I wanted. He emailed me the price quote and didn’tind that I modified it twice before settling on the material I wanted. Because of their prices and service, I also bought enough material to make a welding table (for practice). They gave me a 24-hour turn around time. When I drove up, they had everything ready for me and loaded up my truck.

I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others. The only recommendation I have would be to work on their web site. Some of it works quite well, and other parts of it are not 100% clear. I’m big on simple/clean interfaces. Other than that, they were fantastic to deal with.

Needed a small run of aluminum profiles urgently for a construction project. Very specific sizes in small quantities. Our search led us to Metal Supermarkets who claimed to specialize in exactly what we needed.

We worked through the quote process with Morris. He was extremely informative and recommended the correct gauge and type of aluminum to use for the angles we needed. They were actually able to cut the exact lengths we needed and bend then to the necessary angles. This spared us the HASSLE of ordering metal from one place and taking it somewhere else to be fabricated. Their prices seemed very reasonable for the scope of work and they were willing to deliver to us in Northern Virginia.

We were very satisfied with the end result. The parts were received on the promise date and were cut to specification. From Morris, to manager Carlos, to the delivery driver, we were provided with excellent Customer Service and will definitely be sending them work in the future!
